The Quebec Chess Challenge is an annual tournament of high prestige organized by the Chess’n Math Association. This year it was held on April 28th at the Rizz banquet hall, 6630 Jarry East in Montreal. The tournament was open to children from Kindergarten to Cegep 1. During the Quebec Chess Challenge, children are matched by grade and the winner in each category becomes the Quebec champion for his/her academic level. The champion for each grade level, from 1st grade to Cegep 1, will represent Québec at the National on May 19th in Ottawa.
